Becklin Lab presents at ESA 2021
Sarah presented work from her dissertation as a contributed talk at the Ecological Society of America’s annual meeting. Her talk entitled, “Water availability impacts intraspecific plant-soil feedbacks in an alpine system” was part of the COS 13: Species Interactions 1 section of the international conference. Alex completed her first field season in the Rocky Mountains! Her project, which was funded by a Women in Science and Engineering Fellowship, explored the impacts of increasing ant abundance on soil characteristics and microbial communities.
